How does Emsculpt® work?
Emsculpt® uses high intensity focused electromagnetic energy to target muscle groups like your abs, glutes, arms or calves. This triggers intense muscle contractions that build your muscles and burn fat, resulting in increased strength and a contoured look.
How is it different to squats or situps?
These muscle contractions are much faster (the equivalent of 20,000 contractions in 30 minutes) and more effective (stimulating 100% of your muscle group, when workouts only target half) than what we can achieve at the gym. And unlike intense exercise, you don’t need strength to start.
How can this help new mums?

HIFEM vs EMS Technology
What’s the difference between HIFEM and EMS Technology?
There are two types of technology seen in body-contouring devices. HIFEM (which stands for high intensity focused electro-magnetic) and EMS (which stands for Electrical Muscle Stimulation). It’s important to know which one your treatment uses because whilst they both activate muscles, the results are very different.

Emsculpt® uses HIFEM, which stimulates supramaximal (or full strength) contractions. These are stronger, faster and last longer, at a rate far greater than EMS or exercise.

It is also capable of burning and reducing visceral fat, which is something EMS can’t do. In fact, Emsculpt® is the ONLY device in the market clinically proven to achieve this result.

How long does one Emsculpt® treatment take?

One treatment takes 30 minutes.

How many sessions will I need?

We recommend at least two treatments a week for two to four weeks for best results. Follow-ups are recommended every six to 12 months to maintain your toned, lifted appearance.

Does it hurt?

You might feel a slight pulling sensation which some people might find uncomfortable but you shouldn’t experience any pain

What do I wear?

You can wear anything that is comfortable and provides easy access to the treatment area. Please avoid wearing metal buttons and zips.

Can I come for treatment if I’m menstruating?

No, it’s best to avoid treatment during your period.

Are there any side effects or a recovery period?

This is a completely non-invasive treatment and requires no recovery time. Some patients experience mild soreness, but nothing as intense as what you would feel from a traditional workout!

How long before I feel the results?

Unlike other body sculpting treatments that can take months to take effect, you’ll feel a difference with Emsculpt® within a week. These will be small changes, like posture improvements or decreased fatigue during exercise. Most patients are noticing visible results after the third or fourth treatment and maintain results with a maintenance plan.

How long do results last?

Just like muscles fade once you stop working out, the same is true for Emsculpt. You can expect to keep your results for six months to a year, but it is recommended that you keep these results up with a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise. You can always top up your treatments when you feel you need it.

Can men and women use it?

Absolutely, it’s great for men or women of any age who want to build strength and tone their body.

What does TGA and FDA-approved mean and why is it important?

The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) is Australia's government authority responsible for evaluating, assessing and monitoring products that are defined as therapeutic goods. The FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) is the equivalent authority in the United States. Approval from these authorities mean that a treatment has been assessed and found to be effective for the issues it is supposed to help

What’s your cancellation or no-show policy?

We understand life happens sometimes and so you are welcome to cancel your appointments free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. We require a $50 deposit on booking, which is put towards your treatment cost. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hour’s notice will forfeit this $50 deposit as a cancellation fee.

Do you have Afterpay?

Yes, you are welcome to use afterpay to pay for your treatments in 4 equal instalments.
